For the past eight years, refreshing young designer Oanh Ma has been creating beautiful wedding dresses and gowns both nationally and globally. Her passion for design began at an early age which eventually led to her studying Fashion Design at The Whitehouse Institute of Design in Sydney in 1999. Oanh graduated with a number of accolades and achievements.

Some of these include:

• Semi finalist in the Guerlain Design Contest 2000.

• Winner of the Cue Design Award 2001.

• 4th place and “The Excellence Award” at the International Brother Cup Young Designers Contest in Beijing in 2001.

• Winning ‘Best Collection’ at the Golden Slipper-Makers Mark Awards. This was her graduating range which was then put on Exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney 2001.

Upon graduating, Oanh began working in different facets of the fashion industry. Inspired by her vision of designing unique, artistic and fashionable couture, she decided to start her own label ‘Oanh Ma Couture’ in 2003. Her creations have been featured in various television shows and in a number of magazines. Today, Oanh Ma Couture continues to evolve.
