There are some applications that have password protection on start-up. However, on other applications, once you have applied the IP camera settings on an iPhone, smart phone, iPad, tablet or any similar device, it should automatically log into the IP camera. We recommend that you enable a 1-2 minute auto lock for your device in case you lose your phone or device. The auto-lock password is a encryption on your phone or device and without the correct PIN code no one will be able to access the phone or device and therefore your application.
.
Below are some tips on making your Smartphone, Ipad, tablet or any similar devices more secure.
1. Enable a 1 to 2 minute auto lock on your device. Test it and make sure the phone or device ask you to enter a PIN code after 1-2 minutes of being idle
2. Do not allow anyone to access your phone or device without your permission.
3. Make sure you know where is your phone at all times by keeping it securely on yourself or in a bag.
4. Make sure the application is closed after using it.
The set-up of the IP camera is handled by our experienced staff at Baby & Pet cam. We will walk you through its use and functionality and answer any questions you may have about your IP camera.
